Web 2.0 In Education Conference

Join fellow educators as we explore the use of Web 2.0 technologies in education. This is a unconference-style, lunch-on-your-own, informal, collaborative, bring-your-own-laptop (netbook, iPod, smartphone) event. All Los Rios faculty are invited to attend - beginners and experts, adjunct and full-time. Below is a tentative schedule - we'll finalize it on the morning of the workshop. Creating Online Learning Communities
This workshop will provide some examples of the constructivist
model of teaching and learning online developed by Maureen Tam.
These examples will show ways to facilitate online courses and
student clubs using technology tools. Using the constructivist framework
in online teaching and learning this discussion will take a look at
online teaching and learning as a self-guided personal journey that
is facilitated through personal refection, social activities, and collaborative interactions.

  • If you don't have a Los Rios employee account, find Zack, and he will provide you with a guest account.
